New Orleans
Yesterday I decided to do some exploring around the grid, and I’m so thrilled that I took the opportunity to do it. I came across one of the neatest little spots I’ve discovered in quite a while. The place is called Animagique Productions {New Orleans} and it’s quite impressive.
This inspired replica of New Orleans Square in Disneyland California was a creation done by Xadllas Bing, also known as Mr. Broccoli. I was so fortune to identically bump into Mr. Broccoli during my journey around the square and he so kindly gave me a tour of his creation.
The square consists of four different streets and twenty five different building facades. I made a comment on his texture choices and how much I enjoyed them, and he said that he used a lot of flat colors instead of textures to give the illusion of a watercolor painting. I personally think he did a phenomenal job of achieving this and encourage you to stop by yourself and take a peek.
Around the square you will find all sorts of fantastic attractions including, The Crescent Moon Bar (it features a dancing fountain and three various game tables!), The Court of Angels, The Masquerade Accessories Store, and The Kitchen Kabaret, which is a 1940′s style Caberet review starring none other than…singing food!
I had so much fun learning about the place and exploring everything Animagique Productions {New Orleans} had to offer. I hope you also take the time to see what it has to share!
