The Lake House

blog)lakehouse1 blog)Lakehouse2

One of my favorite stores on the grid for many years has been Rebourne Prefabs. Over the years I’ve owned countless Rebourne products and homes, and it’s quite an honor to have a chance to show you all their newest creation.

The Lake House is a 100% mesh creation that comes in either a skybox or ground version.  It has many spacious rooms, a garage, outdoor living space, and more. There are three levels to this expansive retreat, the top level being a great attic space for recreation, additional living or bedroom space, etc.  My favorite features in this house include the exquisite lighting, the mix of modern luxury and rustic design, and the countless areas for outdoor entertaining and relaxation.

You can stop by Rebourne Prefab’s mainstore location to see a model of the home, as well as their countless other top notch designs.

Kennedy Interiors

I’m someone who is incredibly picky when it comes to quality, design, and decor in Second Life. It takes a lot to catch my eye and draw me in.  When I first discovered Britain Kennedy and her incredible decorating skills, I was instantly obsessed. Britain runs a business on the grid called Kennedy Interiors. She specializes in custom, high quality, detailed interior designs.

She. Is. Incredible.

I’ve never met anyone in world who can take a space and make it completely unique in every way. I’ve walked into many of the spaces she’s created and my jaw has hit the floor. She has a way of finding beauty in clutter, and organizes everything to perfection. Britain thinks of ways to combine objects that I would have never thought to place together, and makes them look like they were meant to be.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to have Ms. Kennedy decorate a space on Blithe for me.  She took the old chapel that Scarlet Creative made, and turned it into an incredible tavern / bar space. My photos above do not do the tavern justice. It’s worth stopping by in person to check out every single little corner of this marvelous space! I’m so honored to have Britain’s work on my sim.

Kennedy Interiors has an in world office (which is also decorated to perfection).  You can stop by, pick up an informational notecard, and be well on your way to having Britain decorate your next indoor living space.
