The Boathouse

So, one of my favorite shops for homes in Second Life over the last many years has been L2 Studio. I’ve always appreciated the craftsman ship, unique floor plans, texture work, and the affordable cost of these great homes. I should also mention that Lindini2 Lane has always been one of the nicest folks I’ve had the pleasure of coming across on the grid. Anytime I’ve briefly bumped into her, she’s been sweet, kind, and cordial. What’s better than supporting a creator you admire?

The Boathouse is L2 Studio’s newest release and it’s so charming! It’s two levels, with multiple rooms, and fantastic deck space for you to wander and enjoy. The home is versatile in the fact that you could use it on a coastal beach sim, but also find a way to use it in a wooded forest on a river or lake.

If the boathouse isn’t your thing, L2 Studio has countless other offerings at their mainstore location. Stop in, and check out what they have for sale. You would be amazed by the variety Lindini has to offer!

Kiss Me In The Vineyard

So two things I’m currently obsessed with…

These gorgeous garden walls from Apple Fall. I can’t wait to find a way to incorporate them into Blithe. Better yet? The price. Apple is selling them for only 300 lindens which is an absolute steal. The details of these walls are just beautiful. Let’s be honest though, would you expect anything less from Apple Fall? Quality and craftsmanship at it’s finest.

Second, Tarte has released these darling literature prints available at N21 this month. I think they may be one of my favorite things that Tarte has released. They can be used in so many decorating scenarios and the pieces from literature that were picked are some of the very best. What’s not to love about John Green, Jack Kerouac, Nicole Krauss, and Stephanie Perkins? Some of the best authors in existence.

Those Things You Can’t Part With

Do you have items which you can’t bear to part with? Whether it be in Second Life or real life, I feel as though we all come across those material items that we cling to with sentimental value. I envisioned that when I created this blog post & image today. I pretended each item had a special memory or moment attached to it.  The guitar from a time when a boy serenaded me… the bunny alarm clock… a token from my college years. The good luck horseshoe… stolen during a drunken night out at the bars. It’s fun to make up little memories for each treasured item. If you were to make a collage of items with memories attached, what would you include?
