Plurk Party

blogged_hottubparty

I won’t deny that I have had my share of “bad days” on Plurk.  It’s a social network that many Second Life residents use, that I, in all honesty, have had my ups and downs on.  I think people can be petty, catty, jealous, and downright cruel on the site, and I think it can be a place that breeds a lot of hate, and opportunity for malice.

That being said, I also think, that it’s one of the most supportive, funny, loving, and close knit communities I have found within the Second Life community.  When I’m having a bad day, there are people there to pick me up.  When I have exciting news to share, there are always people to celebrate with me.  It’s a place where people share their feelings, their lives, etc… and regardless of the negative aspects, the positives have ALWAYS outweighed anything bad.  Everyone on Plurk is so dynamically different from one another, and yet we have (or have at one time) a huge common interest in Second Life.  It’s intriguing to see so many dynamic personalities come together in such a way.

I’m really grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to meet everyone that I’ve met on plurk, and I’m even more grateful to know so many of those people in world. A week or so ago (I’ve lost track of time)   we had a silly little gathering on my sim Heart Song.  The end result was a silly hot tub party, and one hilarious pic.  It’s not the most perfect photograph I’ve ever made, but I sure had a lot of fun making it, and the memories to go along with it.

Long story short, I am grateful for the friendships I’ve made through Plurk, and I look forward to many more wonderful memories in the future. It’s nice, that no matter where I am, at any given point of any day, all I have to do is reach in my pocket, and I have countless, wonderful people at my fingertips to share & converse with.

Plurkies. You rock!

But I Can Stand You One More Night

blog_butIcanstandyouonemorenight

So I’ve blogged three times today. Probably a bit overboard, but I’m a little bit behind on showing you all some goodies, so it was time to play catch up!

A new event is opening hosted by The Hottie Cooterati starting June 28th called Rhapsody.  This massive event features countless designers, with a variety of music themed areas.  The event will feature 8 different music genres, and will also have some live musicians and DJ’s to make the experience a rockin one!

One of the designers featured in Rhapsody is Cracked Mirror, who has this awesome punk inspired ensemble.  I think the suspenders are my favorite part!

Stay tuned for more on Rhapsody & other upcoming events. <3

Beach Pals

blog_beachpals

So, the beautiful Miss Charisma Jonesford joined me for a day at the beach, in celebration of Summerfest 2014.  We are modeling the sweet & sexy cropped tops & shorts from Tee*fy as well as Exile’s two releases for the fun in the sun event!  Both this hair, and this outfit I’ve been prancing around in for a few days now and don’t want to take it off. I LOVE it.

For all of CJ’s credits you can check out her post.

Also, everything you see in the background can be found in this post.
